Valentine's Day is a day we celebrate the love and friendship we share with our families, each other, and our Savior Jesus Christ. The class was so excited to make Valentines for their families and friends during class time.

Valentine Math
With a box of candy hearts in hand, the sorting began! First, they sorted the candy heart by color and then they placed them on a graph. Next, the children made X's in the boxes to show that the box had a candy in it. Looking at the graphs, the children figured out which columns of candy hearts had the "most or biggest", "least or smallest" and if there were any columns that had the "same" amount of candy hearts. We have been working on these math terms the last few weeks.

During chapel we learned about how we all have dirty sins.
But God washes away our sins and clothes us in a robe of righteousness.
Through our baptism we are made clean.

Since little bears get hungry, we better make some bear biscuits.
Our bears grew pretty big, some of the raisin eyes popped out.
It was such a yummy snack.
These kiddos are growing up way too fast! We are half way through the year. I just love the smiles.
